ROW Guides fall under two different sets of rules that determine the necessary credentials to guide. These two rules are defined by the state that you work in.
1. Idaho - You must have an IOGLB License (Idaho Outfitters and Guides License)
2. Montana - You must have a FAS permit for work on the Clark Fork ONLY (not required for Missouri trips)
Both Oregon and Washington require that the Outfitter (ROW) make sure guides have the minimum requirements to guide in those states. This is why ROW requires all guides to send in proof of their updated first aid and CPR certifications.
If you are a guide in Idaho or on the Clark Fork in Montana, you need to have the appropriate Permit or license. Please follow the links to apply for them.
Guides are in charge of applying for their own guide licenses and requesting to be be added to ROW's roster.
