Conservation Efforts

Support for conservation is an important part of ROW's Mission. Guides have the important opportunity to raise awareness of and educate guests about environmental issues on the river where they work. ROW expects and encourages its guides to talk honestly about environmental concerns and to inform guests how they may be involved.

WHAT ROW DOES:

Direct Donations: ROW contributes money and services (trips) to organizations that promote conservation of rivers and other natural environments that we operate in. We also contribute to local organizations that support and build community in the Coeur d'Alene and northern Idaho region that our office enjoys being a part of.

ROW's Pass Through Program: Guests on each river have the opportunity to donate $1.00/day or more to the local river organization. This is an important way that ROW raises money to protect the watersheds where we work. Just some of the organizations that we support are shown below.
